Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information

This Practice is a 24-hour emergency and referral hospital with a spacious, purpose-renovated facility exceeding 9,000 square feet. The hospital is expanding its range of specialty services to meet the growing needs of the community. You will have numerous chances to hone your skills in a supportive and enjoyable work environment.

Departments

As part of our collaborative team, you will work alongside skilled professionals, including a board-certified anesthesiologist and a highly experienced surgeon, to deliver exceptional care to our patients.

Equipment

Our hospital is equipped with a wide array of advanced diagnostic and treatment tools, including:

  • IDEXX in-house analyzers
  • Multi-parameter monitoring systems
  • Digital radiography
  • Ultrasound
  • Plans to integrate a CT scanner soon

Staffing Levels

Our team consists of dedicated specialists and experienced staff who work together to provide the highest standard of veterinary care. The hospital is conveniently located near major highways, shopping centers, and dining options, with easy access to downtown Toronto, less than 30 minutes away.

Type of Individual Sought

We are looking for a passionate Board-certified Internist or an eligible candidate who is committed to patient care and enthusiastic about working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role offers significant opportunities for professional development, mentorship, and collaboration.

Qualifications Required

Candidates should hold ACVIM certification from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine or ECVIM certification from the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
