Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist - Veterinary Recruitment (U.S. West Coast)

Global Talent Partners is a UK-based specialist recruitment company focused exclusively on placing veterinarians across the United States. We partner with veterinary hospitals and practices nationwide, helping them secure high-quality clinical talent in a market where demand significantly outweighs supply.

To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist based in New Zealand who will focus on the West Coast of the United States. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruiter who thrives in a target-driven environment and enjoys building meaningful professional relationships.

Why New Zealand?

Although we are a UK-based company, we employ team members in New Zealand due to the significant advantages the time zone offers when recruiting across the United States. Working hours in New Zealand align well with key availability periods for veterinary professionals on the U.S. West Coast, allowing for more effective communication and engagement.

The Role

In this position, you will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and placing veterinarians into opportunities with practices across the West Coast of the United States. Success in this role relies heavily on your ability to communicate effectively, build trust with candidates & clients, and consistently deliver results in a target-based environment.

The successful candidate will be taking over a warm desk and inheriting a large number of existing clients. Support will be available from the previous West Coast consultant, the divisional director and the rest of the team(several of which are also based in New Zealand).

Interview process and training - What to expect?

The time difference between New Zealand and the UK is a challenge in relation to interviews and initial training. Once you are hired and trained, there will be no expectation at all for you to deviate from your standard working hours… but we do require some flexibility from you in relation to the interview/training phase.
Interviews and training sessions are likely to take place between 6am-8am & 7pm-11pm NZT
