Key Duties

Communicating with pet owners: The veterinarian must effectively communicate with pet owners to explain the animal's condition, the available treatment options, and the potential outcomes of each option. They should also provide recommendations for post-treatment care
Collaborating with other veterinary professionals: The veterinarian may need to collaborate with other veterinary professionals, such as local veterinarians or specialists, to provide the best possible care for the animal
Providing emergency veterinary care: The primary duty of a Travel Emergency Veterinarian is to provide emergency medical care to animals in distress. This includes performing diagnostic tests, providing medication, and performing surgeries if necessary
