Mobile Veterinarian Job, Eugene, Oregon

The Location
Eugene, Oregon offers the best of both worlds like very few places in the U.S. Self-dubbed "A Great City for the Arts and Outdoors," Eugene has a thriving local arts and culture scene in concert with sprawling recreational options.

Key Duties

  • As a mobile veterinarian, they are looking for 32 hours although do cover full benefits at 30 hours
  • You would be using a truck that comes fully equipped allowing you to complete surgery, x-rays and other procedures on the van as well. There is also have a standing location where some clients to pick up medication and visit to contact a Veterinarian
  • You will have a nurse to assist and you would be heavily involved in hiring- there is also a 30 day probationary period to make sure the nurse is a match. They also pay our nurses very well- upwards of 23 per hour so if you know of anyone you would like to team up with this is an excellent opportunity to do so.
  • They ask that every doctor is able to perform basic surgeries such as spays, neuters and dentals- only elective surgeries.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • 2+ years Clinical Experience
  • The ability to and communicate well with patients and team members alike.
  • Passionate about providing high levels of clinical care.
  • True belief in preventative medicine and client education.
  • The confidence to complete a nose to tail exam in the patients' own environment.
