Come join our team as an Associate Veterinarian in the heart of iconic Seattle! Our well-established emergency practice is seeking a skilled and compassionate veterinarian to join our team. We offer 24-hour access to a board-certified criticalist and radiology consultations by boarded radiologists. Our practice provides comprehensive diagnostics and treatments, including ultrasonography, ophthalmic diagnostics, cytology and microscopic evaluations, and referrals for MRI/CT scans. We also offer modern, up-to-date facilities with state-of-the-art equipment, such as cold laser therapy, to ensure the best possible care for our patients.

Key Duties

  • Conducting physical examinations on animals, including taking their medical history and performing diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Developing treatment plans and administering medication, surgery, or other therapies as appropriate.
  • Providing emergency medical care for animals in critical condition.
  • Providing preventative care, such as vaccinations, parasite control, and nutrition counseling.
  • Educating pet owners on animal health and wellness, including disease prevention and proper nutrition.

Key Skills, Qualifications & Client Requirements

  • Education: A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary college is required.
  • Licensing: Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state where they will be working.
  • Experience: While some entry-level positions may be available, most practices prefer candidates with at least one to two years of experience.
  • Strong communication skills: Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and staff.
  • Ability to work well in a team: Must be able to work collaboratively with other veterinary professionals, such as veterinary technicians and assistants.
