Prospect Health is pleased to partner with a well-established and well-respected practice situated in Harris County, Texas. The practice is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian who is motivated, eager and compassionate. You will practise advanced medicine alongside a tenured team in a friendly and inclusive environment where you will be supported and encouraged.

Experience is preferred but new graduates looking to hit the ground running are encouraged to apply since this AAHA accredited practice nurtures a learning and mentorship culture.

You will have a network of highly dedicated and skilful doctors, as well as a supportive team of staff. Excelling in providing compassionate and excellent veterinary care to the surrounding areas, this practice is well-equipped with state of the art facility and equipment such as digital dental radiography, digital-rays, ultrasound, spacious examination and consultation rooms, excellent surgical suite, and much more.

The collaborative environment has led to secured client loyalty and so you will benefit from dealing with an array of exciting and varied medical and surgery cases.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • Experience is preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply - practice is keen to support your career and help you flourish!
  • DVM/VMD/NAVLE degree or equivalent from an accredited university
  • DEA License (can be acquired upon hire)
  • Active State License & USDA accreditation (can be acquired upon hire)
  • Proficient surgical and general medicine experience
  • A compassionate and energetic veterinarian
  • A strong communicator who loves building rapport and long-lasting relationships with clients
  • A person who possesses strong emotional intelligence and is a team player
