Global Talent Partners is pleased to partner with a highly respected and well-established practice located in Birmingham, Alabama. This AAHA accredited practice is seeking a Veterinarian Medical Director who is experienced in advanced medicine to join their friendly, cohesive team.

You will be practising advanced medicine whilst being responsible for ensuring the direction and medical quality of the hospital much like a practice owner.

As a Veterinarian Medical Director you will have the full support of the expert Human Resources, Marketing, Operations, Payroll team. The highly skilled doctors and dedicated, trained staff are very supportive and so you can expect a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

DVM/VMD/NAVLE degree or equivalent from an accredited university
Active State License & USDA accreditation
Medical Director experience is desirable
Advanced surgical and general medicine experience
Supervision and mentorship experience
A compassionate and energetic veterinarian
A strong communicator who loves building rapport and long-lasting relationships with clients
A person who possesses strong emotional intelligence and is a team player
