Prospect Health is delighted to work with an established, well-respected practice just west of Houston in Texas. The practice is seeking Full-Time GP Veterinarian to join their friendly, collaborative team.

You will be supported by highly trained and dedicated support staff.

If you love strengthening the bond shared by animals and humans, this opportunity is for you. The practice is open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians.

The practice uses expert tools and facilities to provide comprehensive care including wellness, dental, diagnostics, surgery, avian and exotic care, laboratory services, pain management and microchipping.

You will see a variety of cases and have the chance to work with avian and exotic species alongside small animals. This is a great way to learn, develop, consolidate, and advance already existing skills.

Competitive base salary ($120,000 - $140,000) with a large generous sign-on bonus ($20,000 - $30,000) and 22% monthly production with no negative accrual.

Katy, Texas is a wonderful place to stay and with your work/life balance you will have much to enjoy such as the Katy Heritage Society Railroad Museum, with its train-related exhibits in a restored depot accompanied by an old caboose railroad car outside. Be sure to explore Katy's Heritage Museum which displays vintage framing equipment and antiques. There is also the gorgeous, leafy Mary Jo Peckham Park with its sprawling lake filled with fish. Enjoy days out with family and friends watching sports and picnicking at Katy Park.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• DVM/VMD/NAVLE degree or equivalent from an accredited university
• State and DEA License
• Proficient medical and surgical skills
• A compassionate, empathetic and energetic veterinarian
• A person who possesses strong emotional intelligence and is a team player
• Experience is preferred but new graduates are also encouraged to apply as practice wants to help you flourish!
