The success and growth of this well established practice has created an opportunity for a residency-trained or board-certified surgeon to join this grown team, this is a new position. Key to this teams success is its high leave of passion and care for the practice and its clients.

You have the pleasure of working alongside a modern 7 Doctor Practice, with state-of-the-art equipment. Practice currently referral offer CT, radioactive iodine therapy, digital radiography, ultrasonography and minimally invasive surgery.

• Operate on sick or injured small animals
• Neuter animals to prevent them from breeding if required
• Give vaccination
• Advise owners on the care of their animals
• Carry out diagnostic tests such as radiography's and ultrasound scans

Key Duties

• Able to examine animals to assess their health and diagnose the cause of illness
• Treat and dress wounds
• Spaying and Neutering against disease
• Updating pet records following each treatment and medical procedure
• Test for and vaccinate against disease

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• At least two years of small animal GP experience or completion of a rotating internship
• Excellent communication skills
• State veterinarian license in good order
• The ability to think and act quickly
• Excellent customer service and bed side manner
