Global Talent Partners is delighted to work with a well-established practice in Stokes County, North Carolina. The practice is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their friendly, collaborative team.

This general practice provides small and exotic animal medicine and also deals with birds, fish, and poultry. The practice also has links with wildlife parks so you will see wildlife animals as well.

Experience is preferred but new graduates are invited to apply as there is dedicated mentorship/guidance available to help you flourish.

The practice is primarily GP and offers comprehensive services including diagnostics, internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, work-ups, wellness and preventative care, to name a few. Well equipped with large examination rooms, pharmacy and surgical and treatment suites, the practice also has in-house thyroid and urine analysis, digital x-ray, surgical and therapeutic laser, in-house blood chemistry machine (IDEXX) and much more.

This practice offers an incoming doctor ample opportunity to do surgery and learn new procedures relating to tumour and ophthalmic surgeries, as well as soft tissue. So if you love surgery, you will be applying and learning skills on a regular basis.

The practice takes care of its doctors and you will be supported by highly dedicated, skilled tenured staff.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• DVM/VMD/NAVLE degree or equivalent from an accredited university
• North Carolina State License

• A person who possesses strong emotional intelligence and is a team player
