This team would like to welcome a full time ER veterinarian to work 12-14 shifts a month to allow for a balance with your personal and work life.


The Hospital

2 fantastic hospitals that are privately owned and AAHA accredited focused on providing outstanding urgent and emergency care. Fully serviced with all the technology to enable you to make a difference to your patient's life, this includes x-ray, on site laboratory, ultrasound and much more. Having a large team with 10 DVM's to bounce ideas off, ask for advice or mentorship allows for a flowing and cohesive working environment. The hospital encourages DVM's to change between the sister hospitals, as this allows their staff to promote and develop skills with different team members.
The structure and pattern of the 12-14 shifts are down to you to decide. Being flexible is an integral part of the hospitals ethos and they encourage a family feel and want the team to work togther. They support personal development, if you are newer or more experienced.
Their mission is to be there when times are most difficult for the pets and ensure that the care given is memorable and genuine. They aim to be at the forefront of veterinary medicine and be a pillar within the community.
The location
If you like to get out and about and visit art museums, zoo's, go hiking then this location is great for you! Omaha has beautiful eateries that range from rustic café's to pop-up restaurants, again catering to everyone's tastes and needs. There is plenty to do with the family, partners or solo.


Key Duties

• Full time ER veterinarian
• Day/night shifts
• Provide professional and exceptional care to ER patient's
• To maintain professional standards by researching and studying recent literature.
• Prioritise case-load

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Client/patient relationship building.
• Diagnose, explain and perform medical procedures in ER whilst delivering the best quality care to the patient and client.
• Maintain client/patient confidentiality and maintain clinical records.
• Represent hospital in a professional manner
• Treat patients and clients with the upmost respect.
