Our client is looking for an Associate Veterinarian for their Small Animal practice just 30 minutes South from Cleveland. If you are looking for flexibility and a better work/life balance, perfect for a recently qualified veterinarian.

This small animal practice was established over 30 years ago and has been modified over the years to include 5 examination rooms, Doctors rooms, ECG, ultra sound, Digital pencil x-ray and digital x-ray equipment based in the recent extension and is looking to extend further in the future!
The practice is currently a 3 Doctor Practice with 7 Veterinarian Technicians assisting with blood draws, x-rays plus much more which will allow you to focus on tasks specifically required by veterinarians.
The practice is set within 5 acres of landscaped gardens, creating a calming environment for clients, patients and staff.
We have been informed by the current owner that the practice is to remain as a practising independent and will not be sold to any Corporates.

Key Duties

• This opportunity is 32 hours a week with every third Saturday, practice is closed on Sundays. Our client is seeking applicants that have between 1-7 years experience and are comfortable with
• General Practice, Soft Tissue surgery and Dental work.
• Opening times - 8am to 6pm
• Outpatients appointments - 15 mins, new clients get 30 mins, referrals at 30 mins
• 1 day of surgery per week (soft tissue, dental, possible)
• Use of Avimark system (almost paperless)

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• DVM/VMD/NAVLE degree or equivalent from an accredited university
