Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information

Join one of Ottawa's leading emergency and specialty veterinary hospitals, proudly owned by veterinarians and serving the Ontario and Quebec areas. Our facility is located at 115 Lola Street, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada K1K 4C1. The hospital features state-of-the-art equipment and is undergoing a significant $12 million expansion planned to begin in 2023.

Departments

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with other specialties, including Emergency Services. Our hospital operates 24/7 with dedicated teams in various specialties.

Our facility is equipped with:

• CT scanner
• Digital radiography
• Ultrasound
• Endoscopy
• Fully equipped laboratory

Staffing Levels

You will join a team of high-level veterinarians, including specialists in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Dentistry, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Critical Care, and more. Our team works collaboratively with local referring veterinarians and specialists.

Type of Individual Sought

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist who is passionate about patient care and eager to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The role includes leading an Internal Medicine team, supervising procedures, and improving care quality.

Qualifications Required

• Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
• Experience working with an Internal Medicine team and leading a team of technicians
• Fluency in English is required; bilingual language skills (French and English) are encouraged
• Hold or be eligible to obtain a license to practice veterinary medicine in Ontario, Canada
• Member in good standing of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) or European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ECVIM)
