Position Overview

The Front Office Coordinator plays a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for patients. This position combines guest services, scheduling, administrative support, insurance coordination, and patient education to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality care.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Reception, Administration & Scheduling

• Greet and register patients professionally
• Update patient records and manage appointment scheduling

Communication Management

• Answer incoming phone calls and emails
• Provide information and facilitate communication between patients and clinical staff

Insurance Coordination & Billing

• Verify insurance eligibility
• Process claims and billing inquiries
• Handle financial transactions accurately

Patient Records & Office Maintenance

• Maintain patient confidentiality and secure records
• Prepare files and support general office organization

Patient Education & Support

• Provide basic information and educational materials
• Coordinate referrals and assist with problem resolution

Training, Quality Assurance & Operational Support

• Participate in training and quality assurance initiatives
• Collaborate with the team on operational improvements
• Support leadership with administrative and workflow enhancements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework preferred)
• Previous customer service or administrative experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with computers and office software
• Ability to manage workload in a busy, patient-focused environment
