Veterinary Criticalist (Board Certified / Diplomate / Residency Trained)

Are you a Board-Certified Criticalist, an experienced residency-trained Criticalist, or nearing the completion of your residency? This role offers a unique opportunity to manage a diverse and stimulating caseload while working with a supportive team of emergency veterinarians, staff, and specialists. This position ensures a balanced work-life environment in a top-tier veterinary referral clinic in Central Toronto, Ontario.

Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information

Join a highly respected specialty centre that provides exceptional care across a range of services, including emergency, internal medicine, cardiology, surgery, ophthalmology, anesthesia, nutrition, and oncology. Our state-of-the-art, 24-hour facility is currently preparing to move to a newly constructed 30,000-square-foot hospital in the summer of 2025, just minutes from our current location. The new facility will offer all the advanced equipment and space needed to enhance patient care and efficiency.

Departments

You will be part of a comprehensive team working across multiple specialties. The hospital supports collaboration among experts in emergency care, internal medicine, cardiology, surgery, ophthalmology, anesthesia, nutrition, and oncology.

Equipment

Our facility is well-equipped with a wide range of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic tools, including:

  • Extensive diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities
  • State-of-the-art surgical equipment such as laparoscopy and arthroscopy
  • 32-slice CT scanner
  • Digital radiology
  • In-house and external lab capabilities

Qualifications Required

Candidates must be Board-Certified or residency-trained in Veterinary Critical Care
