Veterinary Radiologist Role, Berkeley, CA

Our client is looking for a Veterinarian to join their practice in Berkeley, CA.

Experienced Veterinarians, a leading animal hospital in Berkeley is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Veterinary Radiologist to join our growing team.

Key Duties

  • Interpreting and diagnosing radiographic images, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans
    Performing a variety of imaging procedures, such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, and ensuring the safety and comfort of the patient during the procedure
  • Communicating findings and recommendations with other veterinary professionals, including veterinarians, technicians, and pet owners
  • Staying current with advances in veterinary radiology, including new imaging techniques and technologies
  • Maintaining accurate and complete patient records, including radiographic images and reports
  • Collaborating with other veterinary specialists, as needed, to provide comprehensive patient care
    Participating in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain and enhance clinical knowledge and skills

Key Skills, Qualifications & Client Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
  • Excellent diagnostic and interpretive skills for radiographic images, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans
  • Board certification or eligibility for certification in veterinary radiology from the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI)
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary anatomy, physiology, and radiology
  • Current veterinary license in good standing in the state where the individual will be practicing
  • Completion of a recognized veterinary radiology residency program, or equivalent post-graduate training in veterinary radiology
