This practice is looking for a veterinarian that has already got experience in the industry and able to apply their skills in an ER environment.

The Hospital

This hospital is one of the oldest in Houston and AAHA accredited, is focused on providing the best emergency care to patients that come through the doors. You will receive a bespoke training period to help you find your feet in this thrilling environment. The support staff and doctors are all trained to a high level, they will be able to share their knowledge, support and help you develop your ER skills.
To ensure that you can really focus on your case load the support staff and nurses are well equipped to be able to help in any situation. The hospital itself is well staffed and has all the equipment you would need to make sure your treatment runs smoothly: EKG, in house lab, pharmacy, endoscopy, x-ray, CT, surgical suit and more. You will have the opportunity to perform surgery as an ER Veterinarian in this hospital, providing the start to finish package for your patients.
Honing your skills in this forward thinking and friendly team will allow you develop and grow your skills as an ER veterinarian. If the 12-16 shifts a month are covered, the structure and pattern of them are down to you. Being flexible is an integral part of the hospitals ethos and they encourage personal development.

The Location
